Does Samsung Warranty Cover Screen Burn In. Your warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage due to improper use. Samsung has been trying to resolve the issue related to its screen burns but has not been successful as of yet.
Maybe its just ghosting. Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. QLED TVs are covered against TV Burn-in for 10 years.
Generally speaking Warranties only cover manufacturing defects hence any breakage or water ingress would void the warranty.
And having drilled down into the specifics of what is covered and what is not the definition of misuse is widely interpreted and I quote one Samsung area manager Id be astonished if they actually honoured it given most users havent registered the TVs anyway. Samsung will repair or replace parts that are found to be defective during the warranty period due. I have an extended warranty with Best Buy. If repair service is requested in the US it may be repaired at a cost if it is repairable.
